I did as you suggested, and my path looks like: PATH=.:$PATH:$HOME/bin:/opt/intel/compiler70/ia32/bin:/opt/intel/compiler70/ia32:/home/carl/staroffice6.0:/usr3/parall_code/global_array/g/tcgmsg/ipcv4.0/parallel Unfortunately, I continue to get the same error message. With the exception of the word 'parallel', everything was cut and paste, so I don't think I misspelled something.
