Research Software Engineer

Applications are invited for the post of Research Software Engineer associated with the Molpro quantum chemistry package. The post will involve the development of new, and improvement of existing, implementations of quantum chemical methods. The successful applicant will have strong capabilities in scientific programming a high-level language, including at least one of C++ and Fortran, and will have a strong track record in research in computational science. The employment is by TTI GmbH Stuttgart, initially for a 2 year period, but with the possibility of extension. Payment will be in Euro, and contract according to German law. The post holder will work in Stuttgart, collaborating closely with the theoretical chemistry groups at Stuttgart (Prof. H.-J. Werner) and Cardiff (Prof. P. J. Knowles) universities. The post is available immediately.
