[molpro-user] direct-MC-SCF is filling harddisk

I think these are the scratch files from Molpro. They are opened and immediately deleted (a method which is often used for temporary files). As long as the file is open, the application can access it. Once it's closed, the file is gone. You can try the command:

$ lsof

(list open files) to spot them.
