[molpro-user] Error in installing Molpro 2010.1

Bhargava,

The failure is either in building or indexing the library. Was a file:

src/ranlib.log

created? If it was, what does it contain?

Which OS/version are you using, and which version of 'make' is installed?

If you remove the '@' from the following line in src/GNUmakefile:

         @$(call ar_incremental...

i.e. change to:

         $(call ar_incremental

then it should give you more output.

Can you also check there is enough disk space for the library and that 
no user quota is likely to be exceeded.
